Rotate on hotword

This option is only available if the option 'Listen to speech commands' is enabled.

Tap the option 'Rotate on hotword' to make the robot turn to the source of the voice command:

taprotateonhotword

Example

Consider the following scenario:

rotateexample

  1. Robot is oriented to the south.

  2. User states the hotword (e.g. 'OK James') while seated in the west corner of the room.

  3. Robot turns to face the user and will then wait for a voice command to be spoken.
