Link robot using ZBOS Cloud platform
ZBOS Control can be used to remotely control the robot over the internet. This method requires an active internet connection on the robot and the device running Control.
Tap the button 'Login or create an account' in the Linking page.

The login-modal is shown in the default browser of the tablet/smartphone:

Log in using a ZBOS Cloud account

Log in using a social media account

Additional options for a ZBOS Cloud account (i.e. reset the password or create a new ZBOS account)
Create ZBOS-Cloud account
Tap the option 'Create new account' in the browser to create a new ZBOS Cloud account.

Enter the required information in the following screen.

Username, e-mail address and password for the account

Tap the button 'Register' to create the account.
The account needs to be activated using the link in the confirmation e-mail. |

Tap the link in the confirmation mail to activate the ZBOS account.
Log in using ZBOS Cloud account
Enter the username and password for the account and tap the button 'Sign in' to return to the app or website.

Log in using a social media account
Tap any of the social media account (Facebook, Google or Apple) to use the account to log in using the social media account.

Enter the required password for the social account and, if required, grant permissions required to link the social account to the ZBOS Cloud platform.
Link robot to Cloud-account
After returning to the app or website from the login-page, the linking screen will be updated with the new information

The used account-name is shown in the list

Tap the 'Next' button to scan the local network for a robot to link

Tap the option 'Switch account' to use a different cloud-/social media account
Tap the button 'Next' to continue with the setup

Link robot to local wifi
Tap the option 'No' to connect the robot to the local wifi.

A modal will be shown asking for the location information when opening the modal for the first time.

Grant the permission to allow ZBOS Control to scan for nearby wifi networks or enter the wifi network information manually.

Tap the name of the network (next to the icon
) to display a wifi list or tap the icon
to enter the network information manually

Enter the password for the wifi network
-
Follow the listed instructions to connect the robot to the entered network

Tap the QR code icon once all the network and password have been entered correctly to display the generated QR code in full screen

Tap the icon
to download the configuration file to the tablet/app (additional permission may be needed for storage access)
Connecting Control to Robot
Once the robot has been connected to the network, ZBOS Control can be linked to the robot.

This will initiate a scan of the wifi network for the selected type of robot

A list with all robots are shown

A manual input field will be shown to enter the network address will be shown, in the event the network scan doesn’t work (i.e. the router doesn’t allow it).

A button to continue with the linking process is shown

Select the robot or enter the IP address to enable the 'Next' button.

Tap the 'Next' button to continue with the setup.
First user
The first user will automatically be linked as an administrator for the robot.

Tap the option 'Connect' to connect to the robot
Other users
All subsequent users need to request access to the robot to the current administrator.

Tap the button 'Request Access' to ask the administrator to allow the robot to be controlled using the ZBOS Cloud platform.
Tap the button 'Local connection' to control the robot using the local network while the request is pending. See the chapter Linking robot using local WiFi for more information.
